BI Manager
For a data-driven analyst who wants to shape growth decisions through BI, analytics, and scalable data insights in a fast-growing US e-commerce scale-up!
Haypp Group
At Haypp Group, we’re driven by a higher purpose to address one of the world’s biggest public health crises: how to put an end to smoking. Globally, there are still more than 1 billion active smokers, and every year around 8 million people die from largely preventable, smoking-related diseases. Our goal is to empower adult nicotine users to make less harmful choices and, in doing so, save lives. We do this by being the go-to online retailer for safer nicotine alternatives.
Haypp Group is one of the Nordic region’s leading e-commerce retailers when it comes to safer nicotine alternatives with 17 digital storefronts and an established presence in 7 countries. Nicotine pouches (snus) were invented in Sweden, so it makes sense that this is where our head office is based, but the US is by far our fastest growing market. Over the years, we’ve served millions of customers through our dedicated US site Nicokick, with that number steadily increasing.
With around 280 team members spread between Europe and the US, we’re now in the process of scaling our local operations in Arlington, Virginia. There’s no doubt that we are an innovative, fast-moving company on a strong growth trajectory. At Haypp Group, you’ll experience the perks of a Scandinavian-American workplace without having to move overseas. We are an open-minded organization with energy and drive, where ideas are welcomed from all levels and you’re valued for being you.
THE ROLE
As we continue expanding in the U.S. market, we’re looking for a BI Manager to join our US Finance team in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, you will act as the analytical engine of the business, driving insights and enabling data-informed decision-making across Commercial, Marketing, and Operations.
You will partner closely with stakeholders across acquisition, retention, pricing, and fulfillment to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly impact growth and profitability. This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, analytics, and commercial finance, with a strong emphasis on building scalable reporting infrastructure while delivering high-impact analysis.
This is a full-time role based in Arlington, Virginia.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, build, and own dashboards and KPI reporting, including the US weekly business review, ensuring consistent metrics and high data trust
• Write and optimize SQL queries and develop scalable data models to enable efficient and reliable analysis
• Partner with data engineering and global teams to strengthen data architecture, pipelines, and governance
• Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities across business performance
• Support strategic initiatives through deep-dive analyses (e.g., cohorts, scenario modeling) and build repeatable analytical frameworks
• Contribute to improving data capabilities, reporting standards, and overall analytical maturity
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or analytical finance roles
• Expert-level SQL skills and strong experience working with large datasets
• Proven ability to translate business questions into structured analyses and actionable insights
• Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, modeling, or performance analysis
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with dbt or similar tools for data transformation
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence non-technical teams
A BONUS IF YOU ALSO BRING
• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in e-commerce, DTC, marketplace, or consumer goods industries
• Familiarity with pricing, customer economics such as CAC and LTV, or performance marketing analytics
• Experience building data infrastructure in a scaling or startup environment
• Experience with Python or advanced data tools
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• Core dashboards and KPI reporting infrastructure are built, adopted, and trusted across teams
• Business stakeholders actively use BI outputs to inform decisions across acquisition, retention, and operations
• High-impact analyses drive measurable business outcomes and influence strategic decisions
• Reporting and data models are standardized, well-documented, and serve as a single source of truth
• Data governance and best practices are established and consistently followed across teams
• You proactively identify opportunities and shape how data is used to drive growth
